This is an advanced comprehensive knee surgical skills course. At its core, this is an advanced knee ligament reconstruction course where the participants will learn surgical techniques of ACL, PCL, posterolateral, posteromedial reconstruction, and how to address the multiple ligament injured knee. Concomitant pathology including meniscus, articular cartilage, extensor mechanism, and malalignment often accompanies these severe ligament injuries. The goal of this advanced knee ligament course is to provide the participant the skills to treat complex knee ligament instabilities and related injuries.

    • Single and double bundle PCL reconstruction
    • Posterolateral corner reconstruction
    • Posteromedial corner reconstruction
    • Revision ACL reconstruction
    • Osteochondral allograft transplantation
    • Meniscus repair
    • Meniscus transplantation
    • Osteotomies about the knee
    • Extensor mechanism realignment

Target Audience

The primary target audience for Current Concepts in Knee Ligament Procedures is AANA members and non-member orthopaedic surgeons who desire to improve their arthroscopic knowledge and skill in knee surgery.

AANA has determined the need for this live educational activity based on identifying professional practice gaps, previous course evaluations, and the AANA Self-Assessment Examination.

The Arthroscopy Association of North America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Refunds

Requests for refunds must be received in writing by the AANA office at least four weeks prior to the start of the course. Refunds will not be issued for requests received less than four weeks before the start of the course.

You may switch courses within the same year, space permitting, by notifying AANA in writing at least four weeks prior to the course.
