AANA21 Abstracts

Share your expertise! The submission sites are now open for those interested in presenting during the 2021 AANA Annual Meeting, April 22-24, in Chicago, Illinois in one of three formats:

Instructional Course Lectures (ICLs)
Each ICL is 75 minutes and consists of a faculty of experts, led by a course chair. Content on leading-edge surgical skill information and techniques is presented on a focused topic/joint. Participants register in advance and ICLs are scheduled in various blocks throughout the Annual Meeting.

Submitters of accepted ICLs for AANA21 will be notified in September.

Podium and E-Poster Abstracts

  • Podium abstracts are presented in five-minute oral presentations during general sessions accompanied by slides and/or video.
  • E-Poster abstracts are presented as a limited-size slide deck made available electronically to attendees.

Abstracts should be presented on current and emerging techniques and technology based on recent data. The same title may not be submitted for both a podium and an e-poster presentation. Arthroscopy: The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery has the right of first refusal for all manuscripts submitted from abstracts presented during AANA Annual Meetings.

There is a $35 submission fee per abstract. Acceptance notices will be sent in October and podium presentation schedules will be communicated in November.

See the Submission Guidelines (PDF) for further information on podium and e-poster abstracts. Abstracts for Podium and E-poster Presentations deadline: July 27, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. CDT.
