The Arthroscopy Journal Podcast reached a big milestone on February 8 – releasing its 100th episode! Originally created for listeners to experience Arthroscopy in a whole new way, each podcast includes a detailed discussion of a published Arthroscopy article and provides additional content “beyond the article” via author interviews that AANA members conduct.
The 100th episode features an in-depth conversation between Christopher J. Tucker, M.D., Founding Editor of The Arthroscopy Journal Podcast, and Arthroscopy Editor-in-Chief James H. Lubowitz, M.D.; it also transcends orthopaedics and medicine with its discussion on the recent Arthroscopy editorial, “Physicians for Social Justice, Diversity and Equity: Take Action and Lead,” authored by Dr. Lubowitz and Arthroscopy Assistant Editors-in-Chief Jefferson C. Brand, M.D. and Michael J. Rossi, M.D. The editorial discusses the importance of physicians taking action to actively mitigate against bias and discrimination in orthopaedic surgery.
