AANA is excited to announce its partnership with the Orthopaedic Summit 2020: Evolving Techniques (OSET) to host the Advanced Knee: Ligament, Meniscus, Articular Cartilage and Osteotomy Pre-Course December 7-8, 2020 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. The course will be held in conjunction with OSET 2020 December 8-12 to educate participants on the latest techniques and trends in knee arthroscopy.

The first afternoon of the pre-course will feature a variety of lectures and panels where registrants will engage in topics that will prepare them for whatever comes their way in the operating room, such as current treatment concepts for root tears; advanced techniques in meniscus repair; new cartilage technologies; and more.

During these lectures, registrants will be able to hear from several world-renowned arthroscopic knee surgeons, including Course Chairs Nicholas A. Sgaglione, M.D. and Kevin D. Plancher, M.D., M.P.H. Dr. Sgaglione is a national and international clinical leader and educator, particularly for the knee, and served as AANA President in 2012-2013. In addition to being a leading Orthopaedic Surgeon and sports medicine expert with extensive knowledge in the knee, Dr. Plancher is a national and international lecturer and founder of OSET, making the partnership between OSET and AANA a natural fit.

Alongside Drs. Sgaglione and Plancher will be Master Instructor John C. Richmond, M.D., another AANA Past President and surgical pioneer with a main interest in ligament and cartilage injury. Additional faculty made up of leaders in knee arthroscopy will also join Drs. Sgaglione, Plancher and Richmond for this can’t-miss educational event.

In addition to the lectures, the second day of the pre-course will also feature roughly five hours of cadaver lab time focused on ligament reconstruction, cartilage procedures, osteotomy and patellofemoral surgery.

We look forward to a successful course and partnership with OSET. Spots fill up quickly, so secure yours for the pre-course today!
