Dear Colleagues,

The Arthroscopy Association of North America’s Executive Committee has made the critical and necessary decision to cancel the AANA 2020 Annual Meeting scheduled for May 7-9, 2020 in Grapevine, Texas.

Great consideration was given to the health of AANA staff, partners, volunteers, members – and of course, the patients of our members. The AANA staff and Executive Committee have been communicating regularly to discuss the evolving situation and explored all possible options. With guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and state departments, AANA concluded that the best course of action was to exercise extreme caution and cancel the meeting.

We want to thank the faculty that were prepared to deliver valuable content and research, a hallmark of the AANA Annual Meeting that has made it such an important meeting for Orthopaedic Surgeons from across the globe. Thank you to our Corporate Partners and exhibitors, whose presence enhances our meeting and supports the organization as it advances the scope of orthopaedic surgery.

Attendees, please check your email for information regarding registration fees. If you have any questions, please contact annualmeeting@aana.org.

We are looking forward to calmer and healthier times, so please save the date for the AANA 40th Anniversary celebrations at AANA21 in Chicago, April 22-24, 2021! Be well and stay healthy.

Sincerely,

Larry D. Field, M.D.
AANA President
