RSVP for the Business Meeting
Although the AANA Annual Meeting will not be taking place in May, certain business must carry on as usual. The mandate of the 2020 Nominating Committee is to select a slate of qualified AANA members to serve on the AANA Board of Directors. The slate will be presented to the membership for approval following the Nominating Committee Meeting.
There are five Board positions to be filled:
- Second Vice President: This position automatically progresses to become the First Vice President, serves one year as President, and then serves two additional years on the Board as Immediate Past President and Past President.
- Secretary: One-year term, but can serve a total of three terms.
- Treasurer: One-year term, but can serve a total of three terms.
- Three (3) Directors-at-Large (with one being under 45): Three-year term.
The Board of Directors meet three times per year: at the Annual Meeting, once during the summer and once during the fall. The Executive Committee meets one additional time in the winter.
If you are an Active or International AANA Member and interested in serving on the AANA Board of Directors or in the Presidential Line, please submit a one-page letter detailing your interests and qualifications to Becca Daly at Becca@aana.org by Friday, April 24.
