Train as a Team
APEx courses were designed with the whole surgical team in mind. Physician attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their PA, NP, RN, or other support staff. There is no better way to prepare for real-world OR situations than to train together.
At the completion of this course the participant will be able to:
- Comprehend the fundamentals of shoulder arthroscopy, including surgical options for rotator cuff tears and shoulder instability.
- Discuss controversies in the field of shoulder surgery, including grafts and patches for rotator cuff repair, superior capsular reconstruction, and bone block procedures for shoulder instability.
- Improved surgical skills of shoulder arthroscopy, specifically in treating massive rotator cuff tears, instability with bone loss, and what to do in the setting of failed previous surgery.
