Arthroscopic and Open Strategies in Hip Preservation

AANA/ISHA thought leaders will host didactic and hands-on laboratory learning for expert arthroscopic surgeons working as part of a modern hip preservation team. Hands-on cadaver lab sessions will focus on advanced techniques, including labrum repair, reconstruction and augmentation, intraosseous bioplasty and femoroacetabular impingement correction. Sunday didactic symposium with open hip preservation leaders will cover innovative techniques in open hip preservation surgery along with essential billing and coding information from Karen Zupko and Associates.

This session is ideal for Orthopaedic Surgeons, residents and fellows, primary care sports physicians and physician extenders/trainers interested in learning the state-of-the-art in hip preservation concepts from recognized arthroscopic and open experts. This session includes billing and coding for hip surgery by Karen Zupko and Associates, MSK Ultrasound for hip practice and discussions led by hip preservation experts on non-arthroplasty hip surgery.
