913 - Advanced Knee Ligament (APEx)

This comprehensive surgical skills course will focus on knee ligament, meniscus and articular cartilage procedures, highlighting pearls to avoid complications and ensure clinical success. The all-star faculty will teach current clinical algorithms, backed by peer-reviewed publications, and demonstrate cutting-edge surgical techniques. Controversies of treatment will also be emphasized to help guide treatment decisions. This will be accomplished through lectures and surgical demonstrations by leading faculty, hands-on cadaveric surgical labs, and panel discussions with case presentations. Interactive case-based presentations will bring you thru current thought processes and decision-making from experienced faculty who you will find don’t always agree. This course is designed for the sports medicine knee surgeon who is at least proficient in arthroscopy but wishes to advance and broaden both their surgical skills as well as understanding of the current concepts in knee reconstruction and joint preservation. A pre-course questionnaire to best pair instructors to participants ensuring their goals of the course will be satisfied.

Co-Course Chairs:
Kevin F. Bonner, M.D.
Nicholas A. Sgaglione, M.D.

Robert F. LaPrade, M.D., Ph.D.
