This course is perfect for arthroscopic hip surgeons at all career stages desiring to learn the most up-to-date research and pearls from leading hip surgeons. Featuring a full day of hands-on skills training in the cadaver lab, this multi-format structure eliminates the Friday coursework and includes pre-recorded lecture presentations accessible prior to the course to reduce the amount of time spent in a large-group learning environment. This also allows more time at your home base with your patients while giving you the freedom to view didactic content as your schedule allows. Saturday is exclusively dedicated to hands-on cadaver lab skills training – this is the hallmark of AANA Lab Courses.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this course the participant will be able to:

  1. Evaluate and manage clinical presentation associated with common hip disorders and define performance outcomes
  2. Develop and practice surgical skill access to the hip joint
  3. Evaluate and apply arthroscopic and endoscopic techniques for hip disorders

The primary target audience for Advanced Knee Lab Course is AANA members and other healthcare professionals who desire to improve their arthroscopic knowledge, competence, performance, and patient outcomes.

AANA has determined the need for this live educational activity based on identifying professional practice gaps, previous course evaluations and the AANA Self-Assessment Examination. The educational content of this activity was based upon current issues and topics provided by AANA Planning Committees and Membership.

The Arthroscopy Association of North America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

This activity may also help fulfill the Maintenance of Certification credit requirements mandated by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Please fly into O'Hare International Airport. A shuttle to the Hampton Inn and Suites picks up every 45 minutes from the Bus/Shuttle Center. Follow the signs from baggage claim.
