Kelly Family Endowment Leadership Scholarship
The Kelly Family Endowment Leadership Scholarship was established to develop leadership skills among emerging AANA members who, by virtue of race, gender, health or financial circumstances, have experienced unusual hardship on their journey to becoming an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
The scholarship honors Michael P. Kelly Sr., a noted civil rights attorney and champion of underserved communities. The endowment's mission is to prepare and equip future leaders to help navigate and transform the culture of orthopaedic surgery by fostering greater representation and opportunity for women, minorities and individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
