Education Foundation

Who Are We

Established in December 2007 as an independent 501(c)(3) corporation separate from AANA, the AANA Education Foundation was developed as a non-profit that would facilitate contributions as well as assist AANA’s educational activities by way of funding. The Foundation would be dedicated to supporting education, research and advancement in arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery, and is able to do just that thanks to contributions from generous donors and industry partners.

The Foundation is committed to supporting these advancements by way of scholarships for Orthopaedic Surgeons to attend cutting-edge training opportunities; helping fund important opportunities such as AANA Research Grants, the AANA Traveling Fellowship Program and the AANA Health Policy Fellowship; and promoting the minimally invasive surgical innovations of tomorrow.

Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Foundation will continue to advance orthopaedic research, education and innovation that expands the knowledgebase of Orthopaedic Surgeons across the globe and in turn improves their patient outcomes.
